Cantate Music is an independent music production company built on the foundations of the success of the Cantate Boys' Choir and the first releases of 1993 (on cassette only!) of Gary Strutton and the choir.

Beyond running and recording the Cantate Boys' Choir we have now recorded albums for many other artists as well as branching into other areas of music.

In 1995 we released the first ever fully digitally recorded collection of church tower bells (Ring Forth Holy Bells) which has been subsequently followed by other releases and private tower recordings.

Our 2000 release of "Bells for all Occasions" filled in for the many requests of bell recordings we had received to be used as a replacement for real tower bells, where they were not available. As a result these recordings are now used all over the globe to call people to worship.

CANTATE is run by Chris Kimber, a professional musician who graduated from the Guildhall School of Music (London) and mixes teaching and performing with the recording work and administration of CANTATE.
