The first two ensembles to be created make use of our own personal expertise and consist of the "Cantate Voices" and the "Cantate Rhythm" ensemble. Both these groups explore the modern repertoire alongside popular classics, with a strong emphasise on performance as much as solid musical techniques. As part of the groups we offer:-

CANTATE RHTHYM offers a unique approach to music making based on the use of percussion alongside other contemporary forms of instrumentation. Run by experienced percussionists with the emphasis on fun music making and performance skills. At least two different groups to cater for varying ages and abilities.

Termly masterclasses /workshops in World Percussion and musical techniques
Regular concerts in a variety of venues including Fairfield Halls
Exciting and dynamic range of repertoire including performances of World Premieres.

CANTATE VOICES is a modern harmony vocal group where the emphasis is on the performance skills required for vocalists. Run by an experienced and versatile singer, dancer, actress, this group uses popular repertoire to create a fun and contemporary choir. The choir is open to girls and boys from year 7 upwards.
Vocal training and performance technique, complementing any existing tuition.
Opportunities to perform at a variety of different events and concerts.
Professional backing tracks used alongside accompanist and a live band for at least one major concert a year.
Opportunities for recording work
Masterclasses / workshops on vocal technique and performance from visiting specialists.

CANTATE VOICES meets on Thursdays from 7.45pm till 9pm at Collingwood School, Springfield Road, Wallington. Surrey.
Cost of the groups are £40 per term for each group. If you wish to join both groups then there is a £10 discount for both so the amount due would be £70.
There is a half fee rate for siblings.
